Holy shit. I didn’t even watch this episode, but I went through the Wemma tag after, knowing she was in it, and saw this. Needless to say, a wave of various emotions hit me all at once. I was upset, mainly because the character of Emma Pillsbury has helped me with so, so much in my life in terms of dealing with my anxiety. I was angry, because IF this was Ryan’s doing, I considered it senseless, since she had been there from the first day. Finally, I was just confused, because what? She’s Emma Pillsbury! She’s marrying Will Schuester this season! The proposal was one of the biggest Glee moments last season!?!
Then I thought about it: Dot is still considered a guest star, yet had huge storylines in the second and third season, so that gave me hope.
Overall, if this was Ryan’s doing, he’s an asshole. First of all, demoting someone who has been there since day one is pretty unacceptable and unprofessional in my opinion. For people who say Emma Pillsbury isn’t an important character, do you research and actually watch the first season, since I know most of you only started watching once Darren came along. She’s actually a pretty huge part of the story line.
BUT if it was Jayma’s doing, I’m actually extremely proud of her. Glee has literally spiraled out of control and turned into absolute shit within the past three years (starting sometime around Hell-O) and hopefully, she began to realize it. Jayma is a fabulous actress, (if you disagree, please see Asian F), who is rarely ever given the chance to shine on that show. So I really hope she begins an amazing career.
Overall, I’m really upset about all this, but hopefully she’ll still be on a lot. Like stated earlier, her character has helped me so much more than I feel I can describe via the internet, but I truly see an amazing career ahead for Jayma.
I agree. I even found out the same way! I saw it in the tag since I DVR and fast forward through the shitfest episodes now. This was very well said. I am annoyed and a bit bitter, but still hope for a Jaymamazing future.

Silly me, I thought that show couldn’t become any more idiotic. It is reaching Twilight levels in bad writing, poor development, and transparent characters. Good job Ryan Murphy, you now sparkle in the sun.
And if anyone says BUT SHE IS DOING THE SMURFS…..honestly did you go see the Smurfs movie. I would really like to hold out for bigger and better things from her.
Apparently Glee is on tonight? Shows how much I give a shit anymore. It will probably be an idiotic mess. If there is one thing Glee has right now, its consistency.
Guess what Glee character does not have a month in the fucking calendar.
