(reference of effie’s yellow outfit) I had no idea my initial resource for caps had been shut down. A total bummer.

She is in the famous ‘purple’ outfit that is seen with the Capitol Colors ad but unlike that photo and the other one from entertainment she is looking directly AT the camera and her lips are parted a bit.

To be honest. I read around…I do not think ANYONE liked mockingjay though some people hate it more than others. Myself included. I was so sick of being stuck in Katniss’s head. She was lethargic and unstable and rather uninteresting. What happened to the girl on fire? No we get this nut job who runs around and curls up in closets and spends the entire book in the hospital.
I think what bothered me SO much was….Katniss basically becoming insignificant. She was not at the center of the action, she was kind of useless in general. It would be like reading the events of the Harry Potter series from the perspective of someone like Lavender Brown or Justin Finch-Fletchley. I thought the writing was extremely choppy as well…half the time I didn’t know what was going on. I hate to sound like a nitpicking ass but….the other two were GOOD so this was jarring in comparison.
It. was. awful.
If anyone wants to fill my ask with feels on this book (good or bad) I am open to hearing others’ thoughts. Unfortunately right now I’m just…really not finding much good about it at all.
