Yes, poor little old you. There we were, discussing rape, violence against women, systemic oppression and other manifestations of sexism, and you had to jump in to remind us that “not all men” do these things. Why don’t you really say what you want to say? “I HAVE NEVER RAPED/HIT/ASSAULTED A WOMAN!” Right? Isn’t this what you really want to say? Yes, make a discussion that is about the plight of MILLIONS of women about poor little old you. I mean, millions of women are being assaulted and oppressed, but you’ve never done it, so why are we making you uncomfortable with these discussions? —Brenda Wambui breaking down the ridiculous “Not all men!” phrase over at Medium. Top-notch work. (via itmac)

After I saw him in The Cripple of Inishmaan, I anxiously waited to meet Daniel Radcliffe at the stage door so I could get this card signed. Because I was toward the back of the crowd, I didn’t think Daniel would even notice the card, but I was very wrong. As soon as he caught sight of the card, Daniel started laughing. He then took the card and explained how he had wanted to sign one of the cards ever since he had found out about it and signed it with my Sharpie. Then he THANKED me for bringing it and took my phone and took a selfie with me. Needless to say, I was very happy.

As far as Streetcar is concerned I know some controversy is happening with copywritten photos and I was referring to the POSTER of her in the play that has been out for months. That I may bring that. (Maybe).

somuchmorethanthis: "No idea. I saw tweets (jusr 2 or 3) of people getting their programs and tickets signed, but maybe if it's a photo of her during the play she'd let that one slip haha ;)"

I feel like we’ve seen so little that perhaps a majority of the audience members are normal theater going folk.

MORE FOR US THEN.
